What is H-2B Program?

The H-2B program allows U.S. employers or U.S. agents who meet specific regulatory requirements to bring foreign nationals to the United States to fill temporary non-agricultural jobs. A U.S. employer, or U.S. agent must file Form I-129, Petition for Non-immigrant Worker, on a prospective worker’s behalf.

Industries which have highly seasonal needs or temporary heavy workloads are among those who seek foreign laborers. These industries include: Hotels/Resorts, Restaurants, Amusement Parks, Seafood Processing, and Construction/Landscaping Industries. We have a strong annual need for experienced/trained hotel workers (mainly Housekeepers and Cooks), and those who may have traveled in the past three fiscal years on a H-2B visa program.

Program Requirements:  

1. Be between 18 to 50 years old
2. Must have relevant work experience or school training
3. Completed at least Secondary Education
4. Be proficient in English
5. Be willing to work in the service sector of an unskilled job
6. Reference from past or present employer
7. Two (2) passport size photos
8. Resume
9. Copy of information section in valid passport
